At Lodging we’ve learned that even the trips we wish we could forget have lessons to impart. That’s why, as experts in holiday rentals in Barcelona, we’re saying a bittersweet goodbye to 2020. On the one hand, we saw terrible human loss and the collapse of sectors like ours that were powerfully impacted by international travel restrictions. On the other, we’re proud to have been able to respond to this challenge and discover that if you work with great owners and staff, you can do anything. 2020 taught us that we are luckily surrounded by people and companies that have continued to believe in us and have motivated us to keep going despite all the difficulties.
We’ve worked hard over the past months. We’ve reorganized and developed new services for people affected by pandemic restrictions. For our housekeeping and maintenance staff, we’ve developed hygiene and security protocols for all our apartments and established alliances with various associations with the aim of continuing to provide the best rental services in the city. And all this while following, to the letter, the protocols and restrictions set in each stage of the pandemic. We planted ourselves shoulder-to-shoulder with our property owners and we’re proud to have maintained their trust. If 2020 was a difficult year, it was also one that made us stronger, more professional, and more creative.
Because we have great hopes for 2021 and great faith in Barcelona, we’re taking this last day of the year to signal our excitement for everyone’s return. We can’t wait to have our guests back, check them in, book their reservations, and help them bring in their bags. We can’t wait to help them discover this fascinating city that – we know – will soon return to the bubbling international metropolis we love.
Our 2020 trip is ending, and we welcome the new year with hope and renewed commitment.
Thanks to everyone who’s traveled with us.
