When you decide to turn your property into an investment, one of the first challenges is choosing the right kind of decoration of your tourism apartment. It’s a must if you want to blow away the competition in the ever-more competitive world of holiday rentals. In a city as frequented as Barcelona, it’s vital that your apartment stands out for its interior decoration and the quality of its services, and the first images that potential guests see of your property will be the ones that determine whether they reserve or not. Read on to see, once again, how Lodging Management can help you with homestaging to update the look of your tourism apartment in Barcelona through our great partnership with StyleRoom.
If you’ve decided to join the business of holiday rentals but you aren’t sure about the decoration of your tourism apartment, today we’re going to give you another example of how little changes can considerably up your success. In this apartment that we manage in Barcelona, the key areas that required improvement were the master bedroom, the dining room, and the living room. You’ll see that with small changes to the paint color, the decorative elements, and the furniture, the impression the apartment gives off has completely changed.
We begin in the living room, where the most radical change is the new color of the main wall. The maroon has been replaced by a much more attractive cream color, which works well with the warmth of the new lamps on the side tables.
Though it may seem like it because of the new color contrasts, the furniture hasn’t been replaced; just the light sconces, the paintings, the cushions, and the rug. The feeling of comfort has been heightened, too, thanks to the new plants on the center table and next to the television.
In the master bedroom, white has been chosen for the wall where the headboard is positioned, giving a sensation of peace and tranquility perfect for bedtime, and the painting above the bed has been switched out for elegant decorative mirrors. For the decoration of this tourism apartment, we also chose to substitute the lamps on the nightstands for more modern ones, and accompany them with little plants. Lastly, the linens perfectly meld somber and warm tones to reinforce this feeling of comfort.
In the dining area, the main change was switching out the old green chairs for much more contemporary models in blue that beckon guests to enjoy lunches and dinners together. The painting above the table is now an original sign that encourages relaxation along with the new plant that dominates the center of the room.
As you have seen, besides replacing the chairs in the dining room, the only changes made during the decoration of this tourism apartment were to paint color or other tiny elements that, paradoxically, greatly alter the appearance of the rooms for the better.
