Our team of decorators and interior designers are on top of the latest trends and able to easily identify which elements could be substituted or updated to bring in more potential clients and let your apartment much faster. As a demonstration of our services, today we have a before-and-after of one of the tourism apartments in Barcelona that we work with. Check out the changes in this apartment in the neighborhood of Icària and you’ll see that homestaging can work wonders.
We’ll start in the living room of the apartment, where an angled photo has been swapped out for a much more harmonious right-angle view. The sofa and the new armchair now have pillows with natural motifs that play with the piece on the wall and the plants give the home a bit of green. Moved to be next to the TV furniture, the footlamp ties in with the coffee table and the new rug to make the whole place much more charming.
Plants and natural motifs also play protagonist in the dining area, substituting green tones for red ones both on the walls and the bookshelves. The wood table has been changed out for a white model and the red chairs for new acquisitions inspired by the Mid-century Modern style, a wink to the American aesthetic that is currently so popular.
Warm tones dominate in the master bedroom, both in the new cushions made with different fabrics and in the painting with multicolored feathers. Besides painting the wall white behind the headboard, giving the bedroom a sense of serenity, we changed the lighting fixtures and installed a more functional nightstand.
Lastly, the sea was chosen as the decorating theme in the second bedroom. The paintings show a sunset at the water’s edge, the new nightstand is blue, and the bedclothes play with marine tones in combination with the white towels. The pillows invite guests to relax at the end of the day under the light of the new lamp that pairs with those installed in the master bedroom.
What do you think about the restyling of this holiday rental in Barcelona? Are you anxious to see how homestaging can update your property too? Take advantage of this opportunity to completely renew your apartment and postpone payment for 6 months without interest. You’ll soon see how Lodging Management’s partnership with StyleRoom could be your great opportunity to relaunch your tourism apartment in a market that is more competitive with each passing day.
